The included XLR cable can be used to bring audio into the 7″ version of the Blackmagic Design video assist, but it is not needed with the 5″ version as the 5″ version does not have an audio input. This 12G-SDI Cable from Kondor Blue sends video signals up to 4K60 or 8K30 from a camera to a monitor with ease.
