The deflector plate is designed to redirect light outward, effectively minimizing hot spots and ensuring edge-to-edge softness. The term “Switch” denotes the quick-release locking mechanism, which allows for rapid, secure adjustments to the mounting insert, enabling this beauty dish to be compatible with various light fixtures. Please note that a mounting insert (not included) is necessary for compatibility with your specific light fixture. Alongside the included neutral color diffusion panel, an optional 40 eggcrate grid can be attached to further manage the direction of the light.
