Sea & Sea SS-50151 Overview
This Optical YS Converter/S2 for Sea & Sea MDX-aU housings converts a Sony Alpha series camera’s TTL signal for TTL operation in Sea & Sea YS strobes. A mode switch on the housing allows you to choose between TTL or manual flash. Compatible strobes include the Sea & Sea YS-D1, YS-D2, YS-O1, and YS-O3. The converter is powered by two AA batteries, and it features a 60-minute auto shutoff and a flashing low-battery warning. Using this converter requires the use of Sea & Sea Fiber-Optic Cable II.
