The Base Plate for Canon EOS 6D Mark II from Really Right Stuff is designed with anti-twist flanges to keep the camera from twisting while mounted on the plate. Once the dovetail plate is on, quick release functionality has been added to the camera. Also, this base plate is compatible with all Really Right Stuff clamps and most other Arca-type compatible heads.
The CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum plate maintains complete access to the battery door, and the plate has an option for an available L-component that will fit the plate’s modular design and make a custom-fit L-plate. Furthermore, the base plate has a durable Type II anodized finish, and the plate has a laser-engraved center mark on the back to align it on a tripod head. Plus, there is an additional QD socket on the plate for the Quick Disconnect strap system, and a 5/32″ hex key is included.
