The clamp easily locks down by turning the Classic screw-knob mechanism. The head works on arc movements that keep your camera centered over your tripod, so you never lose your center of axis. Each X and Y axis has +/-15 of micrometric adjustment, which is controlled by two geared telescopic knobs, which pull out if you are using a larger camera and can’t reach the knobs. The head has 360 panning on both the top and bottom base, and the top pan has a scale for a repeated setup or for measuring intervals when creating a panoramic shot. The Core 75 can hold camera equipment weighing up to 66 lb, and with each movement you make, there is no need to lock a knob because of its self-locking gear.
