A flexible prime, the Fujifilm X-mount 50mm f/2 Lens from Opteka is a 75mm equivalent lens characterized by its bright f/2 maximum aperture to suit working with selective focus techniques as well as in difficult lighting conditions. One super-low dispersion element is featured in the optical design, and helps to minimize color fringing and chromatic aberrations in order to realize high clarity and color accuracy. An HD anti-reflection coating has also been applied to suppress flare and ghosting and a nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality. Additionally, the lens sports a manual focus design and its manual aperture ring has been de-clicked for smooth, silent aperture transitions.
