Arturia KeyStep 37 MIDI Keyboard Controller and Sequencer

The Arturia KeyStep 37 builds on the achievements of its predecessor, featuring a 37-note slim-key keyboard that includes a built-in 64-step sequencer/arpeggiator, making it ideal for mobile musicians, producers, and analog aficionados. This keyboard is equipped with velocity sensitivity and aftertouch, allowing each step of the sequencer to accommodate up to 8 notes. The sequencer provides 8 memory slots, while the arpeggiator mode includes 8 distinct pattern styles. Furthermore, users can adjust the swing and gate length directly from the keyboard in real-time.

The newest addition to the KeyStep family features RGB LEDs on each key, providing immediate feedback on your sequences, arpeggios, and scales. It also includes four knobs accompanied by an LED screen, granting quick access to a variety of expressive tools and MIDI adjustments for comprehensive creative control. The introduction of scale quantization enables users to define the 3-octave keyboard range of the KeyStep 37 with a preferred scale in Scale mode. Any note played will automatically quantize to the closest note within the selected scale, with options including chromatic, major, minor, blues, and custom user scales.

Furthermore, the enhanced feature set expands the KeyStep 37’s Chord mode, offering a selection of 12 chord types, various strum effects, and the ability to distribute voices into intricate velocity-sensitive parts that emulate the response of a stringed instrument. Additional performance controls consist of capacitive-touch pitch-bend and modulation strips. For those engaged in analog production, the KeyStep provides pitch and modulation CV outputs, a Gate output, and Sync I/O through 3.5mm connectors. The KeyStep 37 is supplied with a USB cable and includes a complimentary download of Ableton Live Lite.
