The AT-LP3XBT Fully Automatic Two-Speed Turntable with Bluetooth from Audio-Technica represents an advancement over its predecessor, the AT-LP3. This model is engineered to deliver superior audio quality and now incorporates support for the aptX and aptX Adaptive codecs, enhancing wireless audio fidelity. Additionally, the design has relocated the power conversion components away from the plinth, effectively minimizing interference and noise. The turntable operates automatically and is capable of playing records at both 33 1/3 and 45 rpm through a belt-drive motor system. Furthermore, it features a built-in switchable phono/line pre-amplifier, allowing for direct connection to speakers or an existing audio system in a wired configuration.
Noise Reduction
A range of features has been integrated to address one of the most concerning elements of vinyl playback: noise. Initially, Audio-Technica relocated the power conversion from within the plinth to an external AC adapter, situated outside the turntable. Additional noise reduction measures comprise a base designed with damped construction to minimize low-frequency feedback, as well as the use of a die-cast aluminum platter accompanied by a felt mat, which collectively contribute to a substantial decrease in vibration.
Automatic Playback
The AT-LP3XBT simplifies the process of playing vinyl records through its automatic playback feature. By merely flipping a switch, the hydraulically damped lift control elevates the balanced straight tonearm from its resting position and automatically positions it onto the record to commence playback. Upon completion of the record, the tonearm will automatically lift and return to its resting place.
