This Remote Port Trigger Cable for Epic 100 Camera Mount from Gigapan allows electronic triggering of a camera mounted on the Gigapan Epic 100 robotic camera mount, which is used to produce ultra high resolution digital images, especially panoramic images. This cable isan option for cameras compatible with a Canon E3 connector. For some cameras, this cable is required because the increased angle of the shutter button on these cameras inhibits the use of the mechanical button pusher. Using this Remote Port Trigger Cable can allow for faster image capture and less vibration when pictures are taken.
