With its smooth and fluid motion, you can maneuver the aluminum 2 lb head to quickly follow a fast-moving subject such as in sports or wildlife photography. Adjusting the height of the camera platform enables you to balance your lens and camera on the vertical and horizontal axes to gain an even tilt, swing, and stability. The vertical rail for the camera platform also has a numbered scale for repeatable setups, so you don’t have to figure out the balance point of a certain lens and camera combo every time you use it. Furthermore, the two large ergonomic locking knobs secure the motion of the 360 panning base and the swing of the camera platform.
