TheSennheiser Profile Wireless Replacement Charging Bar serves a dual purpose, as suggested by its name, and is designed for use with the compact Profile wireless microphone system. This unit is identical to the one originally provided with the Profile two-person wireless system and is available as a replacement. It enables simultaneous recharging of the separately sold receiver and clip-on transmitters, thereby extending the operating time by an additional 11 hours in environments lacking AC power. Furthermore, the thoughtfully designed charging bar can neatly hold the system’s camera-shoe, USB-C, and Lightning adapters, along with the transmitter magnet mounts (all sold separately), ensuring that components and accessories remain organized and easily accessible.

Doubles as Handheld and Desktop Mic

One or two Profile clip-on transmitters can be placed in the charging bar, allowing the device to function as a handheld microphone with backup recording capabilities. This feature is particularly advantageous for conducting man-on-the-street interviews or for use during Q&A sessions. Additionally, it is well-suited for desktop applications and includes a 1/4″-20 thread on the bottom, ensuring compatibility with a variety of tabletop stands.

Tailored for creators on the move, including content producers, influencers, videographers, and mobile journalists, the Profile system operates within the 2.4 GHz frequency range, delivering dependable wireless transmission with a line-of-sight range of up to 800 feet to the receiver. This receiver is compatible with both mobile devices and DSLR/mirrorless cameras. The integrated battery can be recharged through a USB-C port in less than three hours.
